Monthly Business Meeting - 02/10/08

• Minutes from previous meetings approved
• Reports presented and approved (Clerks, Brotherhood, Financial)
• Old Business:  New phone service with Aeneas scheduled to begin on Feb. 26th.
• New Business: Bob Brown brought a recommendation from the Deacons to change and adopt a new policy for the use of the church for weddings.  A motion was made to add that any licensed state official could perform weddings (justice of the peace, judge, etc.).  Motion carried by a vote of 15-11.  Vote to approve the policy carried by a vote of 15-12.
