The Alliance Française de Nashville is pleased to announce the winner of the 2009 Nina Walls Scholarship.  She is Amy Pigott, French teacher at Battle Ground Academy.  Congratulations, Amy!

The Nina Walls Scholarship, which is made possible by the Alliance Française Cultural & Educational Fund, Inc. enables recipients to attend a month-long summer study session at the Alliance Française de Lyon, in Lyon, France, and to live with a French family there.  One of the major purposes of the Nina Walls Scholarship is to give Middle Tennessee French teachers the opportunity to absorb French culture while improving their fluency in the language.
